Byul-Byul's Memorial Museum
The
museum of professor Byul-Byul, azerbaijan professional vocal art's
founder, USSR State Premium laureate, was created in Baku on June
10, 1982. A lot of documents collected in the museum prove Byul-Byul
devoted his brilliant talent to the vocal art development during
more than half a century. Nowadays the museum possesses more than
6000 documents and originals covering Byul-Byul's many-sided and
diverse creative, scientific, pedagogical and public activity.
The memorial museum represents the apartment and exposition describing
Byul-Byul's life and work.
The museum consists of four rooms. Total area is 75 sq. m. Three
rooms are preserved as memorial ones. One room is an exposition.

Byul-Byul lived in this apartment from 1937 to the last days of
his life, which cut short in September 26, 1961.
The
front of the House-Museum is provided with memorial plaques in Azerbayjanian
and Russian. Aslan Rustamov designed the memorial plaque.
